Free Translation Channel - MyMemory API

Free text translation APIs are not common. While there are well-known tools like Google Translate and Microsoft Translator, they each have limitations. Google Translate, while offering good quality, requires a proxy to access and can be unstable. Microsoft Translator doesn't need a proxy, but it often produces errors during prolonged use, and its translation quality is generally mediocre.

To provide more options, version v3.04 adds a free translation channel: the MyMemory API. This is the world's largest translation memory, designed to collect translation data from the European Union and the United Nations, and to provide optimized multilingual translation services for specific fields.

MyMemory https://mymemory.translated.net is the world's largest Translation Memory. It is committed to collecting and optimizing translations, especially for texts related to the European Union and the United Nations.

Using this translation channel is very simple. Just select MyMemory API as the translation channel in the software's main interface, without any configuration or proxy settings. As for translation quality, it performs at least as well as Microsoft Translator and is a reliable alternative.
