Alibaba Bailian API as Subtitle Translation and Speech Recognition Channels

Models starting with qwen-mt and text generation models starting with qwen- can be used for translation channels, i.e., subtitle translation. Models starting with qwen3-asr can be used for speech recognition.

1. First, go to the Alibaba Bailian platform to create and copy an API key: https://bailian.console.aliyun.com/?tab=model#/api-key
2. Fill in the copied API key into the Menu-Translation Settings-Open-MT API key field in this software.

Using the Qwen-MT Model to Translate Subtitles

The Qwen-MT model is a large machine translation model optimized based on the Qwen model, supporting mutual translation between 92 languages (including Chinese, English, Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish, German, Thai, Indonesian, Vietnamese, Arabic, etc.). On the basis of multilingual mutual translation, it provides capabilities such as terminology intervention, domain prompts, and memory banks to improve the translation effect of the model in complex application scenarios. Select a model to use from qwen-mt-plus and qwen-mt-turbo. Select the Alibaba Bailian translation channel in the main interface.

Using Qwen Text Generation Model for Subtitle Translation

For example, text generation models such as qwen-plus / qwen-turbo can be used.

Using Qwen3-ASR for Speech Recognition

Similarly, using the Alibaba Bailian API, you only need to fill in the API key in Translation Settings - Alibaba Bailian and select the speech recognition model. Then you can select Qwen3-ASR in the Speech Recognition channel.
