Network Proxy Address
As shown in the figure above, the software's main interface has a Network Proxy Address text box. This is used to enter a network proxy address for accessing services that are not directly accessible within China, such as Google Translate and OpenAI.
You need to enter a proxy address in the format of http://127.0.0.1:10808. Unless you have enabled a proxy service on your machine, please do not fill in this field randomly. Otherwise, it will not only be useless but also prevent the originally accessible domestic services from working.
For example, while Google Translate is excellent, it is well known that you must bypass internet censorship to use it smoothly in China. Of course, I have specially set up a "FreeGoogle" translation channel that can be used without bypassing censorship, but this is based on Cloudflare, and some domestic operators or regions may still not be able to use it smoothly and may still require bypassing censorship.
If you don't know what bypassing internet censorship is and can't open https://Google.com in your browser, please search for methods to bypass internet censorship on Baidu. This article only discusses how to fill in the corresponding network proxy address in the software.
Assuming you are using the v2ray tool, have started it on your machine, and can access https://google.com in your browser, you only need to fill in http://127.0.0.1:10808 in the "Network Proxy Address" text box.
As shown in the figure above, the default network proxy address of the v2ray tool is http://127.0.0.1:10808.
Assuming you are using the clash tool, have started it on your machine, and can access https://google.com in your browser, you only need to fill in http://127.0.0.1:7890 in the "Network Proxy Address" text box.
As shown in the figure above, the default network proxy address of the clash tool is http://127.0.0.1:7890.
As shown in the figure above, after filling it in, you can select the "Google" translation channel. When you want to use domestic translations such as Baidu or Tencent, just delete the content in the network proxy address text box.
Please note that if you do not know how to bypass internet censorship, have not started any tools, and cannot open https://Google.com in your browser, do not fill in anything in the "Network Proxy Address" text box; you must delete it. Then, use a domestic translation channel, such as Baidu Translate or Tencent Translate. See the tutorials below for usage instructions.
