Batch Merge Videos and SRT Subtitles

Similar to batch merging videos and audio, you can also embed subtitles into corresponding videos in bulk. For example, if you have 20 videos, each with its own SRT subtitle file, this feature allows you to embed all 20 SRT files into their respective 20 videos in one go.

How to Use

  1. Create a folder and move all the videos and SRT subtitle files you want to merge into it.

  2. The video and subtitle file names (excluding the extension) must be identical. The program uses this naming convention to determine which SRT subtitle belongs to which video.

For instance, if your video's full name is 001.mp4, its name without the extension is 001. Therefore, the SRT subtitle file intended for this video must be named 001.srt.

During processing, after the software identifies 001.mp4, it will remove the extension to get 001. It will then look for 001.srt in the same folder. If found, this subtitle file will be embedded into the 001.mp4 video.

  3. Select this folder within the software interface.

  4. By default, subtitles are embedded as hardcoded subtitles (burned-in). If you check "Embed Soft Subtitles," they will be embedded as soft subtitles. When using soft subtitles, you must select the subtitle language; otherwise, characters may appear garbled. Also, note that soft subtitles require support from the video player; some domestic players might not display them correctly or may show garbled characters.
